This is the story of four lesbians who decide to abandon lives of stability and normalcy to travel around the continent of Windswept, putting on plays, clown shows, concerts and the like for people. Their philosophy: Shows are free-for-all, no ticket needed... but donations are appreciated. But why is this woman with pink hair following their every movement? This queer romance novel from debut author Petra Wellspring is light-hearted, but not saccharine. It's a modern fantasy, but you won't find any thee or thou stuff, nothing stuffy or out of date, no dragons to slay or princess to save, yet it remains engrossing. It's a story about life and love shared with others. It's about self-discovery. Who knows? You may even find yourself giving a few belly laughs.
